Celia (Jasso) Munoz:  

Life I was born 4-17-38 in Taft, Texas. My parents were Frank Jasso and Aurora Garcia Jasso. I only had one sister, Yolanda Jasso Guzman-Govea. My dad died on Sept. 30, 1979 and my sister died in August of 1999. My mother lives with me since 2000. I attended Raymondville Schools from the first to the 9th grade. I attended Taft High School for the first half of my 10th grade year and King High in Kingsville for the last half of my 10th grade year, my 11th grad and graduated in May of 1957. I was one of the top 20 students academically but instead of going to college, I married Joe Munoz, Jr. in August 25th of 1957. My first son, Joe F. Munoz was born on 8-31-58. He graduated from King High in 1976, is a police officer in Austin and lives in Kyle where he serves on the school board. Joe is married to Debbie Jimenez and they have a son, Dezi, born on 12-3-2001. Joe also has a son, Marcus and was in the Marines in NC, a daughter, Melanie Marissa who lives in Edinburg, and a daughter, Ylissa, who lives in Kyle (from prior marriages.) My 2nd daughter was born on 7-6-63 and graduated in May of 1981. Dina A. married Patrick E.
